Telugu actor Vishnu Manchu recounted a tense and frightening experience in Dubai after what appeared to be missile interceptions lighting up the night sky amid escalating tensions in West Asia.

The actor, who was visiting family in Dubai, took to his Instagram Stories on Saturday evening and shared a video showing bright streaks in the sky along with loud interception sounds that reportedly shook his residence. In the video, his young child, Ayra, appeared visibly frightened by the sudden noise. Vishnu described the moment as unsettling and expressed concern for his family’s safety.

Along with the video, he wrote that the missiles and loud explosions created fear inside their home. He emphasized that no child should ever grow up hearing the sound of war above their roof , adding that such moments remind people how fragile life can be. His message reflected both shock and a prayer for peace during uncertain times.

Vishnu also expressed gratitude to the UAE defence forces and local authorities for ensuring civilian safety and responding swiftly to the situation. He acknowledged that their presence and preparedness provided reassurance during the crisis. In his post, he wrote, “Grateful to the UAE defence forces for keeping civilians safe. Moments like this remind us how fragile life really is. Praying for strength and peace. Har Har Mahadev.”

The incident comes amid reports of heightened military activity in the region. According to media reports, four people were injured after an Iranian drone struck Dubai International Airport , causing damage inside a passenger terminal. Emergency response teams were immediately deployed in coordination with relevant authorities to assess the situation and manage safety protocols.

Earlier in the day, actor Sonal Chauhan also found herself stranded in Dubai after several flights were reportedly cancelled due to the ongoing crisis. Through her social media account, she reached out to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking guidance and assistance for a safe return to India. In her message, she stated that flights had been cancelled with no clear update on when services would resume, and she requested government support to help travellers return safely.

The broader context of the developments points to increasing tensions in West Asia, with reports referring to missile strikes and aerial attacks in the region. Some media outlets cited claims from Iranian state media regarding casualties and high-level developments following reported strikes, although such statements require careful verification from official sources.

The incidents have raised concerns among residents and travellers in the region, highlighting how geopolitical tensions can directly impact civilian lives. Both actors’ experiences underscore the uncertainty faced by people on the ground as authorities continue to monitor and manage the situation closely.
