AP Class 10 Results 2026: 85.25% Pass, 5.26 Lakh Students Clear Exams

Andhra Pradesh has delivered a notable academic turnaround in the SSC (Class 10) examinations for 2025–26, with the overall pass percentage rising to 85.25% , up from 81.1% last year. Declared on April 30, 2026 , the results reflect a steady improvement in learning outcomes driven by structured reforms.

A total of 6,18,131 students appeared , of whom 5,26,954 passed , underscoring both the scale of the examination system and the effectiveness of targeted interventions. The improvement is largely attributed to a 100-day academic programme implemented between December 2025 and March 2026 , under the leadership of Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh.

The programme combined continuous assessments, data-driven monitoring, and targeted academic support . Students took 46 low-pressure slip tests , with performance tracked through the LEAP mobile application , enabling real-time identification of learning gaps . Based on analytics, students were categorised into “shining stars” and “rising stars” , allowing teachers to adopt customised teaching strategies and provide subject-wise doubt resolution . The introduction of bilingual study materials (Telugu and English) further enhanced accessibility.

To ensure last-mile learning , the government introduced a 30-day residential programme for lagging students, along with pre-final and grand tests designed to reduce exam stress. These efforts ensured that no student was left behind , particularly in public schools.

The results show strong institutional gains. Government schools improved to 78.3%–78.39% , up from 72.8% , significantly narrowing the gap with private institutions, with only five government schools recording zero pass results . Meanwhile, Gurukul and residential welfare schools excelled , with BC Welfare institutions recording a remarkable 96.02% pass rate , as 5,274 out of 5,501 students passed , far above the state average.

Gender-wise, girls outperformed boys , achieving 87.90% pass percentage , compared to 82.68% for boys, continuing a consistent trend.

Sharing the update on X, Nara Lokesh said the results are accessible via the official portal , Mana Mitra WhatsApp service (9552300009) , LEAP app , DigiLocker , and school logins. He also confirmed that the AP Open School SSC and Intermediate results have been released.

While congratulating successful students, he emphasised that the progress reflects the determination of students and the support of teachers and families , while encouraging unsuccessful candidates to remain hopeful. They will have an opportunity through supplementary exams , likely to be held in June–July 2026 , with official dates and application deadlines awaited.

With exams conducted between March 16 and early April 2026 , and a minimum requirement of 35% marks per subject , the results highlight a model built on technology integration, welfare support, and academic planning —now emerging as a scalable blueprint for outcome-driven public education .
